The Lily Pad holiday let is a single storey building set within these grounds and offers compact, well-equipped accommodation.

The décor and furnishings are to a high standard with a pretty double bedroom, a kitchen equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, and washing machine.The living and dining area has a double sofa bed for possible plus two sleeping arrangements. There is television, video, DVD, CD players and a selection of video, DVD’s, CD’s are provided. The shower room is provided with towels and all bedding is provided. Outside there is a private decking area in a beautiful setting overlooking the lower lake and its lilies.

 

The Lily Pad also has access to the formal gardens for walking, picnics, barbeques or quiet meditation watching the lakes for a sighting of the kingfisher. Our private lakes are available for fishing (with barbless hooks please). The lakes have carp, rudd, roach, tench and an isolated fresh water trout has been caught in the middle lake in 2007.

 

Three Acres Farm is located in the hamlet of New Mills on the B3275, which is easily accessed off the A30.  In the adjacent village of Ladock, (about one mile distant), the Falmouth Arms, public house serves a good range of food and beverages and the chef has won awards from St Austell breweries for his desserts,  Ladock also has the nearest post office shop. 


The lovely city of Truro with its shops, restaurants and cathedral is only eight miles distant.
The coastal town and port of Falmouth is only 18 miles away to the southwest and Padstow with its’ famous Rick Stein connections is 17 miles to the northeast.


Newquay with its’ surfing beaches is 10 miles away and Newquay airport with its regular flights in from Stansted and Gatwick is close by at St.Mawgan.  Newquay airport also offers the opportunity to fly out to the Isles of Scilly with the possibility to visit Tresco Gardens little bit of paradise.


Many gardens are within easy reach of Three Acres Farm by car including the farmhouse, Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, plus many National Trust properties, for example Trelissick, Glendurgan, Trerice and Lanhydrock.  A personal favourite garden to visit is the beautiful Trebah gardens, nr Falmouth.
